Now, an important caveat is that marketing is no longer limited to companies selling consumer goods. Celebrities, small businesses and job hunters are all in the business of marketing themselves. Vaynerchuk outlines specific strategies for each of the major platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) all while maintaining a boxing analogy of jabs and right hooks. Jabs are the day to day interactions that brands have with their audiences that build trust and interest. The right hook is your big ask (read; BUY) that every business person wants to deliver.
